He is known for painting cows as portraits and in folk art landscapes. Fairytales and children stories are some of the inspiration in his paintings with Peter Pan featuring in past works. He is also influenced by the British work of Lowry and the Scottish landscape. European naive art and American folk art are also an influence in his work.
