My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time. It was something we both had to be strong about. I decided to join a cancer foundation who helped those who could not afford to pay for the services needed when going through this battle. I painted a series called the tile series on my website. These ceiling panels were put in Duke Cancer Center in Raleigh, NC. While getting chemo treatment the patients look up at my artwork to help them relax and dream. This Abreast of Cancer # 3, is a series devoted just to cancer. It was my way of releasing my emotions and put them down in creations on canvas. This was the third painting of the series, and is a favorite of many. Some see the breasts, some see fish, others see what their imagination reveals. I hope this painting will bring joy to someone in this world and know a portion of the sale will go to cancer foundations to find the cure. Thank you Michael Todd Morrison

Born and raised near the beach in Southeast Texas, have lived in many different states and countries, currently live on the coastal waters of Galveston bay. Being a "Renaissance Man" as my friends call me, my wealth of knowledge has matured over the years and shows in my work. With over 35 years of painting and photography, I continue to grow and refine my creations. 2015 was in 100 buses in Raleigh area with Art on the Move for most of the year. I have won several awards, in galleries, and currently on display at the USDA Gallery in Washington, D.C. I grew up around nature. Horticulture, flowers, and various works in wood, stone, and other media have moved me to painting on acrylic on canvas and other media. I give a portion of my proceeds to various foundations and organizations as you can read and see more on my website, michaelmorrisonart.com
