I have a favorite phrase about artists: “If people are looking for a needle in a haystack, then almost everyone stops as soon as they find it. But the artist continues to search and discovers a second needle and a third one, as well as a comb, a kitty and another useless things. ” I think that this comic description of artists most accurately characterizes my creative approach. In my opinion curiosity is the most important trait for creativity. Curiosity to any information that comes to you, curiosity to people, to different nations, to the grains of sand on the beach and to the veins on the leaf, curiosity about life in general. Then everything around becomes more expressive, colors seem brighter and sensations becoming pure. And you want to express it somehow, to invent or to find a suitable language of expression. I do not put any philosophical ideas into my artworks. I draw about myself and for myself. Showing my works, I would like to share my impressions with people and inspire them to curiosity to this world and to themselves.
