The passion with which these women tend to make vegetables available in its fresh states in the local markets is incredible. You can feel the joy and contentment of the young vegetable seller. And how they put up with the varied nature of the environment is remarkable. The masses, noise and heat they endure. Whether or not there was good sale, they're back the next morning making sure people get what they need to put food on table. If you're passionate about something, nothing can stop you. I use basic colours to drive home the fact that, although pepper and other vegetables such as garden eggs are common place in our part of the world, they play a profound role to making tasty meals.
