The painting "Barber's Breakfast" is an exquisite still life neatly arranged on a table. The centerpiece of the composition is a decorative metal jug with a curved spout, which adds an element of antiquity and artistic taste. Next to it sits an ornate wooden box with intricate carvings and metal accents, adding an antique charm to the image. In addition to these elements, the painting depicts various small objects such as a brush with a wooden handle, a comb and small tools and accessories, which creates a feeling of natural chance and living life. In the foreground is an open pocket watch with a chain, nestled on a piece of burlap, adding an element of historical authenticity and interesting detail. The background of the painting is made in dark, muted tones, which contrasts with the bright lighting of the main objects, emphasizing their details and textures. The realism of the image is achieved through carefully crafted reflective surfaces and detailing of objects, which emphasizes the artistic skill of the author. The overall effect of The Barber's Breakfast is that it not only conveys a collection of antique objects, but also recreates the atmosphere and time context that gives the work depth and historical value.

I was born in the capital of a small Baltic country in a family of artists 51 years ago. I've been drawing since I was a child, as long as I can remember. I was friends with a neighbor boy whose parents were also artists. That's why he and I grew up in a creative environment. Perhaps such an environment (poets, artists, musicians, artists) influenced my development. I drew always and everywhere, and often automatically (unconsciously) . At the age of 17, after graduating from high school, I, as is typical of young people, was a terrible maximalist. It seemed to me that I already know everything and know how to do everything. My parents wanted me to continue my studies at the Art Academy.
