About The Artwork
The creation of the work was inspired by a fantasy book. The kidnapped girl finds her way home through a portal between worlds, but now she is not sure that she needs to return, because she has fallen in love with her captor. The work is done in gouache on paper. The work combines Slavic ethnic style and fantasy. These are my two favorite topics: books and movies in the fantasy style and the history of Slavic peoples. I hope that the work will take the viewer into a fairy tale and show the continuation of the story…
