I am an experimental artist. One thing that sets my artwork apart from others is that I habitually create new techniques, usually completing at least 100 of each in my explorations; sometimes I spend years if it continues to offer new potential. Each project I've done has a story behind the evolution process. Ask me and I'm happy to share it! Other artists and urbanites seem to be my most avid audience; frequently I hear "I've never seen anything like this and how do you do this?!" Regular learning through experimentation inspires and feeds my creativity whereas routine seems to kill my joy. The art of reuse continues to intrigue me because I like the challenge of putting disparate items together to create an aesthetically pleasing whole. Unique assemblage provides possibilities that might not otherwise happen without this exploration.
