My name is Liz Coleman. I was born and raised in upstate New York. My interest in art and painting began as a young child and developed further while attending Syracuse University. After graduation, I found inspiration living in NYC, Washington, DC and southern CT. Although my background is rich in various art forms, my creative journey led me to find passion in abstract painting. Abstract allows for the opportunity to captivate viewers and give each person something unique to discover within expressive works. Mainly, influenced by Richter and Pollack, my work defies categorization, as each piece stands as a testament to its own distinctive narrative. Often wielding acrylic, ink and pastel on canvas, I like to weave a tapestry of creativity. My artistic philosophy revolves around the joy of experimentation with diverse techniques and mediums inviting viewers to embark on a visual journey filled with discovery and delight. Products and services offered include; original paintings on canvas, and commissioned pieces, for home, business, staging and commercial spaces.
