Jerod is a French contemporary artist. Summoning the great currents of abstraction, such as Richter, Jerod delivers an intuitive painting, shaped by a relief marrying large acrylic surfaces. Painter of the instinct, his painting, worked with a spatula, offers a composition where the passages overlap, revealing the memory of the gesture and of a forgotten color. The abstract expression of the artist is rich in interpretations, the viewer's eye drifts from one stratum to another, guided by a light, a rapid gesture; the color is eclipsed, orchestrating the composition, thus the work is discovered, guardian of a past story. Jerod's works are permanently presented at JLF Gallery, exhibited at the Carrousel du Louvre as well as in several French salons, his works now belong to private collections in the USA, Europe or Australia.
