JUST AS A RIVER MAKES ITS WAY TO THE OCEAN, SO DO LIFE, LOVE AND ART REACH INTO ETERNITY AT ALL TIMES. MY ART IS TO TELL THAT THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE IS FILLED WITH LIGHT, AND THAT THE LIGHT PERMEATES EVEN THE DEEPEST SADNESS. SHARPENING ONE’S PERCEPTION ONE MIGHT FEEL OBSERVED UNDER HEAVEN’S GAZE. THROUGH THE PHYSICAL WORLD WE SEE THE DIVINE REALM. AND I FEEL THE NEED TO SHARE MY STATE OF MIND BY BRINGING A VIEWER FACE TO FACE WITH THE MYSTERIES OF EXISTENCE. USING ALL AVAILABLE PICTORIAL MEANS I SIMPLIFY THE IMAGE I AM CONVEYING ALMOST TO A SYMBOL. Anna Sorokina (Bilman, Bilmin) was born in 1989 in Sevastopol, Ukrane. Works in the author’s technique of engraving on cardboard. Engaged in oil painting, painting on author’s canvas, illustration, sea pebble mosaics, ceramics. Holds master-classes and creative meetings.
