French painter Gaëlle Mot grew up in Brittany where she was inspired by the beauty of the Breton coast to paint her first paintings. Expatriate in Zurich then in Geneva, she falls in love with Switzerland and succumbs to the charm of the Helvetian lakes. In her painting, Gaëlle Mot shares her poetic and luminous vision of nature while assuming the realistic and figurative bias of her work. In her marine paintings or in her views of the Swiss lakes, she shows a great sensitivity thanks to the subtlety of her palette of blues and grays, but also a certain modernity thanks to her perspectives and clean lines.
