Oleg Babich is a Tel Aviv-based visual artist, illustrator, designer, creative director, and author of children's literature and comics. Oleg was born in 1976 in Ekaterinburg, Russia — in the heart of the mysterious Ural Mountains. After receiving a Master's degree in architecture, he preferred to devote himself to fine art and creative activities and to continue his family`s artistic dynasty, which started from Eastern-European window-decoration artists in the XVIII century. Since 2009 he resides in Israel. Oleg constantly participates in exhibitions and art events in Israel and abroad. Also, he has the honor to create projects for internationally renowned clients like Mazda, Danone, Unilever, and others. In his paintings, Oleg Babich explores Nature as a mystical high power. The concealed connection between real and unreal forms of life is the main material for creating a story — a surreal tale full of mystery and love.
