Born and raised in China, Ge has been painting and drawing since she could pick up a pen. She received awards in China at very early age, and have drawings featured in magazines. Over the years her training and practice covers watercolor, sketching, and drawing, until she moved to the United States in 2014. In the city of New York she was exposed to and influenced by American and European arts, and started to explore the world of Modern art and Acrylic/oil painting. Ge is particularly interested in painting landscape of different cities that she traveled to or lived in. Her works are combinations of Eastern and Western techniques, traditions and cultures.
