Dream of Holiday Print

Apulia, August, 2PM, the sky is low and heavy, the heat is almost unbearable and the only thing you hear around you are the cicada. Time has stopped and everything is still, there is not even a breath of wind, and you feel like you are outside of the real world. Yet, you don’t want to be anywhere else but where you are at the moment, enjoying your dream of holiday ... I like a simple, effective, straight to the point approach to my paintings, with clear lines and bright colours. I paint in a realistic way with a touch of graphic novels style. The subject is usually women, nature and wildlife. I combine different images to create a unique vision of a thought, event or feeling. I paint mostly using oil on canvas for its versatility. It allows me to create bright images that pop out and at the same time gives room for softness and drama.
