This was another painting inspired by my experimentation making "The Last Supper". Though only one blue was used, it seems to change tones with the light. Also another one people like to touch. I use papier-mâchè to create sculptures or acrylic to make abstract paintings. I love colour & texture. One of the first things people ask me when they see my work is "can I touch it", which of course they can (with clean hands!). I guess I still have not decided if I should focus on sculpture or painting, so my works end up becoming an amalgamation of both... I also like to experiment with digital images, either for 'concept' pre-work for what will become a sculpture/painting or as a 'raw' final piece. My formal education has been with Science rather than Art, but I like to think that this has helped me execute my work from a different perspective and instilled a mindset of continuous experimentation to push me to new ways of expressing myself.
