I'm a London based fine artist, I work in oils, water colours and works on paper. I graduated from art college in 1977 and have been working as a professional artist since. I have exhibited commercial and public galleries. My working practice is influenced by drawing directly from life particularly the figure and is about human movement and relationships as a metaphor for emotional states of connectivness. I am influenced by Renaissance drawings and abstract expressionism. I try combine elements of both in my work, which switches between a gestural realism and more painterly abstraction.
