Hans Petter Fjugstad is a Norwegian artist who lives and works in Altea, Spain. He teaches painting to students of all age and has during the past years held many solo exhibitions in the Costa Blanca. Fjugstad works with a wide variety of techniques, but his preferred medias are painting, sculpture and film. With expression ranging from figurative to surrealism, he describes himself as a classic figurative surrealist. He has exhibited his work in numerous galleries in Norway. In addition his work has been commissioned for the permanent collections of Ifinger in London, the Norwegian Consulate in New York, the Norwegian Export Council in New York and Grand Hotel in Oslo. Fjugstad has an international background and has worked in the US, Italy, Denmark and Norway. He has worked as a film producer and director and has more than 250 productions of film, documentary, television and commercials to his credit.
