I paint instinctively and I am inspired by the natural world, drawing on upon my surroundings of the Wiltshire countryside and a love of the Devon coast line. From a starting pint of chaotic abstract marks I work with my paintings to eventually create a scene of solitude. Trying not to think too hard about the end painting I constantly remove and add brush strokes, my paintings are experimental and can often change direction. i love creating colour pallets, they are frequently muted but my love for strong colours leads me to lSoutn bright contrasting colours.
