A viewer of journeys and time, Scott uses his work to explore and engage with our movement through life. Each painting looks at the space we inhabit, how we have travelled the earth and the patterns within our lives. His work tries to take all the singular insignificant and even mundane moments of our lives and combine them to show the journey of the individual throughout a lifetime. This is to make some kind of sense of the time we have been given. The philosophical questions of life and worth are at the forefront of his work. Graduating from Coventry University in 2011 with a BA(Hons) in Illustration, Scott uses his narrative background to try to portray ideas and themes that have always been a huge part of his life. Scott's interest in the natural world as well as scientific and philosophical studies have had a great influence on his work. He feels it prudent to allow all areas of life inform his work.
