Clément Nivert is born in 1977 in Melun (France) He live in Bois le Roi near Fontainebleau and no far from Paris. Clément Nivert lives in the heart of the Forest of Fontainebleau, an essential source of inspiration for him. Should one consider him a follower of the Barbizon painters? His works as successors of this movement of naturalistic art born in the 19th century? Evoke his « family of artists »? Summon up a « French Spirit », of whom he would be a faithful follower? False leads. Beyond a common object, his art has nothing to do with such patrimonial appropriation and is not content with anecdotal countryside paintings. What does his work show? Some vivid, immediate, intense visual experiences. His tools are lyrical abstraction, light, colors, the motif only manifests itself to let the feeling through. Music like painting. Clément Nivert is a demanding, self-taught and curious musician and painter; His guides are the honesty, the chills that can not lie, the most intense emotions of music his paintings display. Currently on exhibition, multiple series from semi-figurative to purely abstract, with similar fluidity of lines and colors, a space of cool and warm tones that produce a sensation of constrastful light, available in the form of polyptics or single pieces.
