ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The wildfires in Los Angeles inspired me. The new strange normality of our wildfires is both horrifying and beautiful artistically. The beginning of an actual wildfire in front of the Griffith Observatory has just started and the beginnings of the flames and smoke are pictured. The environment and our effect on it and on our ecosystem is something we should consider. Fire and its primal draw for us inspires this piece also.
