Norway based, self-taught artist creating sketches, paintings with the focus to achieve more and more in the field of fine arts by trying different mediums and subjects. Hi there! I am Abhijit, full time Engineer and part timer in managing the art career. I actually was able to pursue my interest in the art- world; and started investing more time and energy in it from 2015. I was okay at drawing from schooling days, but engineering drawing in the academics helped me lot in learning the visualization, dimensional analysis, perspective, drafting, etc. and of course, to add further to it is- art videos online, other learning mediums, keen observation, practice and determination. I started with pencil sketches, shading methods and gradually tried ink pen to color pencils to soft pastels to watercolors to acrylics to date to broaden my portfolio. I try to achieve balance between realistic and impressionistic style of painting. I like drawing architectural shapes and still life mainly. Scene with contrast of light and shadows is particularly of my interest. I believe my mixed media artwork is unique in its own league. I hope the collectors of my art will observe my joy and fulfilling experience through the paintings and my paintings provide some meaning wherever they get hung.
