This is part of a new body of work I am creating. It has resulted from being alone, alone in thought and alone in person. Contemplating so many issues while leaning on nature as a guide. The birth of spring and what that now means.

I'm an artist with a graphic design background living part time in Toronto, Canada but mostly in Creemore, a small farming community north of the city. This is where I have my studio and feel most relaxed and balanced. I love clean, simple forms and striking imagery. I paint in acrylic and oils and use drawing materials to add texture and interest to my paintings. I have a range of subject matter that inspires me but my style seems to stay the same, very clean and minimal. I am currently working on snapshots of figures in familiar environments and how they relate to their surroundings in a subtle, less ornate, contemporary setting. The human figure, especially women, and it's relationship to space is what draws me to paint these days. Visit often as I'm always creating new pieces!
