this painting is part of a series of painting created in Idyllwild, CA, USA where I used to have a fine art gallery. this quaint and artistic small town is nestled in the mountains at an elevation of 5,000-5,500 feet where it snows during the winter and sunny in summer time. most of the year Strawberry Creek, the main creek in the center of town is running, cascading down the mountain. In this painting I employ a technic that I developed years earlier, incorporating scratches as well as acrylic pens with the acrylic paint, creating the illusion of 3D, which can be viewed with 3D glasses
