ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The painting was inspired by the pain that the world and Los Angeles feels about inequality of races. Our most vulnerable generation in the making are exposed to more trauma than love in the urban areas. Major cities, because of a broken system are forced to live a life in denial of their true-selves that only leads to a sense rebellion and violence to get their voice out. The tense emotion that was capture and represented has to do with an urge to live and being heard. The society with its deft ears misses everyday on the incredible contributions that our children would have on our modern world.
