"˜Art is for Angelo the true expression of the human social condition. [...] It is always the man at the centre of his artistic journey, journey that is sometimes physical, and that takes him to embrace different realities, and other times metaphysical, and that drives him to rediscover the thought and the words of poets, philosophers and patriots. His path is a journey of identification with the weakness and the greatness of the human soul and its many facets, a journey that Angelo translates into his work through the use of intense and evocative mood.' Daniela Vaccher Art Curator and Critic Born in Naples in 1967, Angelo Savarese is a Rome based artist and photographer. Passionate about art, Angelo has been painting and taking pictures since an early age. His style is eclectic, countless the things that inspire him. He creates art that is novel and abstract mixing geometric elements and writings in large canvas but he also likes to blend traditional elements with new settings and techniques. His work has been exhibited in many galleries in Italy and abroad since 2006 and it has been featured on the front cover of the Baltimore journal Progress in Neuroscience (2011). He was awarded the Premio Mnemosine in Rome (Italy) in April 2012. You can find out more about Angelo on his website: .html
