A Syrian artist and architect , Mukerrem Sousli’s passion for art began in childhood, winning his first award at sixteen. He laid his academic foundations at the Istanbul State Academy of Fine Arts (now Mimar Sinan University), graduating as a Master Architect in 1977. Devoting his life to blending architectural discipline with the free spirit of art, Sousli has participated in numerous international exhibitions. His techniques span watercolor, acrylic, and oil, marking an evolution from classicism and Cubism to pure abstraction—a realm where architectural balance meets the limitless world of abstract expression.
