ABOUT THE ARTWORK

The inspiration behind the painting titled "It Comes and Goes in Waves" comes from the ever-changing nature of the sea and the fleeting moments of sunlight that dance on its surface. The painting captures the dynamic movement of ocean waves and the way sunlight flickers and shifts as it touches the water. The idea reflects how both waves and sunbeams are constantly in motion, never staying the same for long. This interplay of light and water symbolizes the continuous ebb and flow of life, with its moments of calm and turbulence. The painting aims to evoke the beauty of these transient moments, inviting viewers to appreciate the delicate balance between light and water and to reflect on how life’s experiences, like the waves, come and go in a rhythmic, cyclical pattern.
