ABOUT THE ARTWORK
"You have to keep breaking your heart until it opens." - Rumi I like to think that there's a purpose to our heartbreaks. This quote makes me think of a quote from the Bible - "God is committed to taking every bad that happens to us and using it to bless us." - Romans 8:28 The heart is a piece of one of my acrylic abstract paintings. The colors felt like what a heart might look like after it opens. Heartbreaks that are healed create more colorful, authentic lives and more colorful, more interesting selves.
