Hello, I am Raven a naturaly creative person.God blessed me with the ability to embrace my creativity. I live eat &; breath anything creative. I love to paint &a ; do it every single day. I started painting when I was a little girl. My grandmother took me along to her oil painting classes , I was 8 & I was hooked. My grandmother encouraged me to paint in my spare time & always supplied me with the tools to do so. She bragged about my first paintings showing them to all her friends. I really developed a passion for painting in my early 20's. Don't get me wrong as a child I loved it too. I find painting to be therapeutic. It helps me to work out my emotions & scratch that creative itch. I get inspired & just have to express the idea or feeling on to canvas. My journey has really started to pay off as far as the quality of my work. I can actually see that all that practice has proven to be successful. I have created some really beautiful pieces of art. It surprises me every time. It gives me a quite satisfaction to know that I created something so very beautiful. I still have a lot to learn. I am willing and ready and try everyday to learn something new and grow my skills & knowledge as an artist. I am just now trying to put my art out there for others to see &; appreciate. I feel ready now. I think that the expression of my creativity on canvas is something I love to share because I believe it can bring a touch of unique beauty into others worlds. I like to make others happy and if my art can change an environment into somewhere thats now got a good vibe because of my contribution of time &; efforts &; love then I'm all for it... Adding something beautiful to look at...contributing to changing this world into something better making a difference through my art is humbly what I want more than anything. I want to affect this world and others worlds in a beautiful way. I've also decided that every piece of art I sell that I will donate a percentage of the proceeds to charity. This way I can make a difference through doing something I truly love.. My style is abstract expressionism sometimes just abstract. I enjoy patterns and Flowers mostly. I use household paint & acrylics along with mica powder pigments . I use the pure pigment mixed with a binder because the colors are so unique. I usually have this iridescent sheen incorporated into all of my art. It doesn't show up in the pictures.
