She can easily be called a self-taught artist, but Marie is neither proud of it nor ashamed. Maria has a rich life experience in the field of ecology, and this strongly resonates in her works. She likes to use more eco-friendly but durable packaging for shipping. When she creates new projects and paints, she prefers to use lighter materials (paper and carboard) and a small size format, since the packaging carbon footprint is much smaller during its transportation. Marie talks to you about important things in her life in the international language of art and reminds you that happiness is in the little things. Depth is first created in her backgrounds, then brought forward by varied layers of painting techniques as Marie incorporates mostly gouache and poster colors into her works. Marie's major themes are passion to nature, the virginity of nature, life, feelings and relationships, memories from childhood, and impactful moments and events from her life. Marie is an eastern Christian and this also reflects in her works, by the theme of kindness, mercy, love and the importance of having the basic values of humanity are also could be discovered in her works. Born 1993 and raised in Russia in a tiny town nearby Moscow, Marie has worked to become a full-time artist after living across two different worlds - European and Asian. Marie donates a part of her income to the people in need around the world, and she opens for cooperation.
