Based in East Anglia, I am a retired secondary school art teacher, painter and sculptor. I was born in Tamil Nadu, India and spent my early childhood years living in the Ketti Valley. The latter part of my childhood was divided between homes in Cornwall and school in North Devon. On finishing school, I studied at Falmouth School of Art, Gloucestershire College of Art, Chelsea School of Art and Manchester Polytechnic. From 1971-1977 I was teacher of art at Redborne School, Bedfordshire, in 1977 I became Head of Art at the Harwich School, Essex, I remained in this position until my retirement in 2004. I have exhibited in London, Manchester, Cheltenham, Bradford, Bedford, Ampthill, Colchester, Southend-on-sea and Harwich.
