Larry The Slightly Cross Lion Print

Larry The Lion was inspired by a painting my father did age 27 of a lion -- he was training as a DR and there was a themed circus event. His watercolour painting was mesmerising and I used to stare at it for hours-- the eyes followed you around the room- It had pride of place over the fireplace. another member of the family inherited the painting when my Pa died in 2019 and I have been meaning to attempt my own. Last Sunday this slightly cross represnetation of a lion appeared in super quick time on quite a large canvas. There is another version available for prints below -- with bed head appearance. But I deceide to tame the lion slightly and give him ears and a hair cut (to make him more realistic and slightly less impressioniastic) - the painting is an expression of emotion in tackling the lion and I did not want or need to do an entirely photographically accurate representation - I prefer impressionistic pieces
