Joni Rivera is a self-taught artist who recently found her passion during the Covid-19 Pandemic. She has always loved to draw but never pursued it. Despite the unfortunate pandemic, quarantine has given her time to finally take up a pencil or a paintbrush and make art.

Her work is inspired by nature, particularly birds, animals and botanicals, as well as beautiful landscapes.

She draws admiration from watercolor artists Karl Martens, Thomas W Schaller, Oliver Pyle, Sarah Stokes and Billy Showell.

She also works with ink, graphite and colored pencil for her drawings. She admires the work of Moebius, Franklin Booth and Bernie Wrightson.
