Hi, My name is Dang Cao and I'm a Vietnamese painter. I taught myself to painting for 2 years and started selling my work when I was 19 years old. I'm clumsy and not very good at painting, that's what I used to say about myself. I dropped out of my favorite college and didn't have enough money to go to a private university. I once wanted to give up my passion for painting because I thought I was not qualified to draw and chose a safer but less free path, but I did not give up that passion when I read a quote. by Vincent Van Gogh is :If you hear a voice within you say "you cannot paint," then by all means paint, and that voice will be silenced." From then on, I started pursuing painting non-stop until now. I know that at the time I type these words, I am still only a few tens of meters from the starting line, there are still hundreds of thousands of kilometers waiting for me. Painting is my passion and dream and one day I will have my own art exhibitions around the world.
