Sepehr Roshanshomal was born in the Iranian capital of Tehran in 1989. After completing his undergraduate study in Architecture, he went on to get his master's degree, and he is currently pursuing a PhD in Architecture. He wrote his master's thesis on natural structures and the human-nature relation in architecture, and continues to research related topics. Painting, music, sculpture, video, and a variety of other art disciplines are among his creative endeavours, in addition to architecture. His subject matter is human-nature connection, whether it is a landscape, or a fish and fruit painting. He works with various techniques and mediums, ranging from acrylics to natural dye, to capture movement and emotions. Sepehr develops his artworks through a meditative art-making process that allows him to create intuitively and emphasize the cooperative relation between the artist and nature.
