This work was inspired by Basquiat and Da Vinci. Mona Lisa always intrigued me. She always smiled but never showed her teeth. Her red eyes are from her being tired of sitting in the same position posing as Da Vinci finished painting her. She’s both annoyed and excited. Acrylic allows me to mix colors easily. Enhanced with oil stuck for that POP! I felt that giving Mona Lisa that Basquiat feel would pull her out of the 1500’s into 2050! Thank you
