No more insults The painting shows how to be on peace with yourself and with the others. Do not be offended by me please - these are words that people says to find a compromise. Sometimes you need to find a compromise with yourself and with your conscience. Resentment is a person's reaction to not fair insult, as well as the negative emotions caused by this. Anger against the abuser and self-pity in a situation where nothing can be fixed. And sometimes it is very difficult to apologize. It seems to us that this “hits” our self-esteem, makes us weak in the eyes of the others, makes us step over ourselves and, most importantly, encourages us to admit that we did wrong. On the other hand, what if you sincerely apologize, but the person is unable to accept your sorry? When we look at that painting, we can remind ourselves that reconciliation is the key to be in peace with yourself. We see that the freedom is in our hands. Releasing insults gives lightness and fresh breath to the person who has dealt with their emotions and feelings.
