At the age of 70, I started painting. I hadn’t held a paint brush in 65 years. My art story is one of fate and destiny. And a return to my childhood passion that was buried so deep, it took 65 years to re-emerge. Drawn to start painting in watercolors, I do not know why I chose that medium. Each color seemed a burst of light. I have this gift, where energy comes through my hands. I am “led” to what I am going to paint and what colors I am going to use. I never know before I begin. I am now 74. I’ve painted over 700 paintings, and sold close to 100 original paintings around the world and my art is in several collections. I am also committed to donating a percentage of my art proceeds to women's causes, such as domestic violence.
