"Petunia and alstroemeria" Fine Art Print

I am an artist from Bulgaria. I paint over 15 years portraits and figures, but sometimes still life and landscapes take part of my daily routine. My favorite mediums are oil paint and charcoal, because oil paint allows full expression in values, colors and edges, but charcoal is another world of grey tones that sounds like a musical solo instrument in the silence. My artworks can be described as impressionistic realism including an abstract aspect, which represents the invisible reality. I use and improve my drawing skills to create the ordered parts of my paintings. For the abstract areas I loose the control and experiment with the mediums. I use some spatter, pour, palette knife techniques, and every possible tool that can help me to achieve different textures and effect on the canvas. Almost all the time I am in searching of balance between objects and space, realism and abstract, the middle point of duality. I hope you enjoy my work !
