Born in 1971 in Tehran -Live in the United States since 2019 -Married, I have a Master of chemical engineering degree and am an artist who has been intimate with drawing and painting. when I did not have adequate time to work on canvas, I draw and paint on that abstract background that I already prepared. My Vision Nothing is worth recording and keeping as a memento except beauty. My principal goal of painting is to create a beautiful scene for the viewer. As a figurative paint artist, the main object of my paintings is the human form, especially women, and I try to combine my favorite elements in order to create beautifully colored and desirable images. I am very interested in history and culture, and this has been reflected in my works. I also am a fan of Iranian traditional motif on rugs, tiles, and needlework. In addition, sometimes mentioning those elements, I combine them with the international symbols like Bluetooth, barcode, @, undo, etc. The birds are messengers in my works wherein sometimes they herald hope, freedom, goodness, health, peace, love and sometimes the realization of a wish. The origami birds in my works are signs showing that, in lack of external messengers, it is possible to construct them inside of the world and so to share it with others. My Style I do believe in the following saying from Hannibal Alkhas: "For us, art schools are as lasting as fraternity. Until the time that we believe in love, Romanticism, and whenever style and signature of the artist is clear, Expressionism, and to the time that human beings are engaged with sleep, dream, nightmare, and wishes, Surrealism " appears in artworks. I believe that my works are figurative modern paintings in an abstract background that combines Expressionism, Surrealism, and Romanticism. However, at times one of these schools is overwhelming in my works. Materials and Medium For small works, I use ink and occasionally acrylic on paper or cardboard, and for bigger sizes, I use acrylic on canvas.
