I grew up in Miami, Florida, and joined the Navy at 19, which brought me to Virginia. My passion is painting, and I particularly enjoy working with texture and color. While I primarily use acrylic on canvas, I also enjoy experimenting with mixed media and woodcut prints. Although I don't have extensive exhibition experience compared to many artists, I do have my pieces show and sell in local galleries. Ultimately, I love to create images that offer a unique interpretationn by bending, enhancing, or changing color, mood, and feeling.
