This abstract was inspired by the phenomenon of algae blooms. These overgrowths of red microorganisms are beautiful in contrast with blue seawater but are often toxic to humans and animals. A statement on environmental disruption, I hoped to capture the sinister nature of climate change's effects on our planet's oceans. Framing hardware is not included.
