ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Painted during winter 2021, this piece is inspired by dreams of strawberry ice cream enjoyed in my summer holiday as a child. I remember the feeling of anticipation looking at the ice cream shart at the kiosk in the park and enjoying endless days of play in the sun. I hope this painting will give the viewer a joyful experience and maybe you will remember your favorite ice cream as a child and the magic of a long summer day. This painting is intuitive and painted with gesso and acrylics. I love to use impasto and make structure in my paintings. It’s protected with a matt varnish. Signed at front and behind the painting. Unframed, ready to hang on wooden bar.
