b"h Artist Statement Menachem Yaffe I'm an auto-didactic artist who successfully combines religious and philosophical world-views through art. At the age of 14 I was inspired and charmed by the painter Van Gogh from whom I learned the basics of color. My artwork is complex, it combines philosophy and psychology with deeply personal elements that reflect my relationship with G-d and inspiration from the world. My paintings reflect these concepts through the use of intense and powerful color. Over the years I have developed the ability to create abstract art and different formations for expression through radiant hues. Through my experiences living in the UK and extensive travel I gathered a rich spectrum of tools, ideas and styles that I channel through my work. My art has been exhibited multiple times in both solo and group exhibitions. At present I live in Bnei Brak, Israel with my wife, Chana, and our baby daughter.
