We knew that Sighișoara is the best preserved uninhabited medieval settlement in Europe. I knew that the historic center of the city was included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999. And yet ... the first meeting with this location, I was deeply impressed. The old buildings breathed history. The thought that political and cultural personalities such as Vlad Tepes, Sandor Petofi, Johannes Brahms, Hermann Oberth, Horea Teculescu and many others were following in the footsteps of the city ... left me speechless.
