VIEW IN MY ROOM
Xu Bin's original oil painting, titled "Slow Down VVI," is a stunning visual portrayal of the beauty of autumn and the joy of slowing down to savor life's simple pleasures. The painting depicts a young man who has taken time off from the hustle and bustle of city life to visit an orchard during the apple harvest season. The painting's composition is centered on the young man, who stands in the foreground, looking up at the apple trees with a relaxed and contemplative expression. His body language exudes a sense of satisfaction and ease that comes from being fully present in the moment and enjoying the simple pleasures of life. With a yellow-green background, the painting radiates a sense of relaxation that contrasts with the bustle of urban living. Xu Bin's use of fine brushstrokes to depict both the characters and the apples creates a sense of depth and texture that is both visually striking and emotionally engaging. The characters are rendered with incredible detail, capturing not only their physical features but also their inner emotional states. Subtle variations in color and tone in each brushstroke create a sense of movement and dynamism. Layer upon layer of brushstrokes intertwine with one another, creating a detailed and intricate web of color and texture in the painting. Bright colors jump and flicker within the dense strokes, creating a sense of energy and life that is infectious. This is Xu Bin's signature artistic style, and it is one that he has developed over many years of dedicated practice and experimentation.

China
I was born in 1969 in Guang'an, Sichuan, China. I graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Southwest Normal University and became a freelance artist afterwards. My early works were mainly oil paintings, influenced by Impressionist and Post-Impressionist artists such as Monet and Seurat. Through continuous learning and creative practice, I gradually integrated the artistic essence of Matisse, Picasso, Dali, Chagall and other artists, and combined with my own Chinese cultural background to develop my own mature artistic style.
