ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Galina Andrusenko's "Still Life" is a reflection on the phenomenon of painting and on the study of nature. Halyna transforms the artistic image of the naked body and offers us to look at nature not as a person, but as an object and to abandon the attempt to combine them in a plot. The artist composes still life from "objects", emphasizing awkward, illogical, absurd poses for the human body.

In 2018 she graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, Faculty of Monumental Painting and she received the Gold Medal for the diploma project "Tower of Babel. In 2021 Halyna graduated the Kyiv Academy of Media Arts (KAMA), degree Artist. She continues to participate in exhibitions and implement personal projects.
