Painter of landscape and sculptor in stone, clay and plaster. Since moving to Cornwall, southwest England in 2006 work has focused on small oil studies of the coast made en plein air. Paintings in the collections of Hampshire County Council, Winchester and Burton Agnes Hall, East Yorkshire. Sculpture and paintings in many private collections in UK and abroad. Paintings seek to express the essence of a time of day at a season of the year. The changing light, tides, movement of boats and people means that each work has a fairly short timespan in which it must be completed. Only a small proportion achieve their aim and are put into frames.
