About The Artwork
Sumatra is known for its volcanoes, tigers, pepper, tea, sugarcane, oil palms, deposits of gold and silver. The painting is my fantasy about this unique place with its rich nature and exotic culture. This island can seem dangerous and at the same time very attractive for faraway travelers. This artwork is a true color and linear expression mixed with sand and feathers. I worked with acrylic paints and found objects in a free structural style. Gray-and-white color scheme deals with unexpected bright pink magenta, yellow and brown splashes. Signed on the back. Will be shipped carefully packed. Do not need framing. Ready to hang.
